Self sufficient living skills is not "rocket science". It is, however, a change in attitude coupled with learned skills that requires determination, an open mind and a willingness to try new ideas and experiment with "new" techniques which have been largely forgotten or lost over the years.



We don't have all the answers but we are learning daily. We have been working hard for the past 8 years to create an environment where others can learn with us many of the secrets that our grandparents learned during the tough years of the depression era. They were willing to teach but for the most part ... we were too busy to learn. We at the Conservation Farm are trying to change that.
